Your newsletter choices
Subscribe to StockControls release notes and useful tips using your email address. We send one requested confirmation email; the subscription starts only after you open its link and confirm on the page.
A separate list for this site
Your request joins the StockControls list. It does not subscribe you to our other websites, buy a product or change your account access. Newsletter messages use support@stockcontrols.com as their reply address.
Information and retention
Our mailboxes run on a GoDaddy-hosted server in the United States, and outgoing email uses its relay. The hosting and delivery service processes recipient addresses and message contents. This site uses Cloudflare for website delivery and protection. See the site's full privacy notice for its other services.
We store your email address, consent version and request or confirmation time. An unconfirmed request expires after 48 hours. A confirmed subscription expires after 730 days unless you unsubscribe earlier.
Unsubscribing removes your address from the newsletter register. We keep a protected one-way address reference and withdrawal information for 180 days to prevent unwanted sends. Queued marketing messages are cancelled. Essential purchase and account records follow their separate policies.
Abuse limits use protected, short-lived references derived from the address and network connection; the newsletter rate-limit records expire after a day. The website and mail service also process the connection information needed to deliver pages and messages.
Control what you receive
Every newsletter includes preferences and unsubscribe links. Article emails, offers, purchase-based personalization and click measurement require their own optional choices. We do not use email-open tracking pixels. A mail app that loads our logo requests that image from this website.

Remembering your signup choice
The article signup prompt remembers a browser's first recorded visit and whether an invitation was shown in local storage, for up to one year. It does not store your email there or share this memory with another website. When storage is unavailable, the automatic prompt stays hidden. Mobile invitations appear inline after reading; they do not block the page.
A Secure, HttpOnly, same-site cookie protects the signup form for 30 minutes. After you confirm or open your private preferences link, another protected cookie can recognise your active subscription on this browser for up to one year and suppress invitations. These are not advertising identifiers. A new browser is not recognised until you use your private link. Clearing browser storage resets this memory.
Article-form consent selects weekly articles for this site. Offers, purchase-based personalization and click measurement remain separate choices. If the form includes an available discount, its stated eligibility and expiry apply; the redemption code and link are shown only after confirmation.
